Hi,Dont know if you remember my post("nec dvd burner how do I install?")or not,But just wanted to let you I got the two drives working properly.I tried a new IDE cable but that didnt work.So I went in to BIOS mode,It wasnt recognizing the secondary drive.So anyway I wasnt sure what to do,so I called my brother inlaw .He came over and tried a couple of things that didnt work.He said let me try one more thing.He jumpered the primary drive to master,and the secondary to slave.Rebooted worked like a charm.I know its been awhile ,but just wanted to let you know what the out come was.Thanks ,and have a great new year.
