Hi all Have Problem
Just received my new 4600c with 17" lcd. System worked great for about an hour then started messing up. Called dell support they told me to reinstall Windows xp so I tried. Now all it does is Windows Xp logo comes up,then says instalilation is starting,then screen goes black, cursor flashes and system starts all over and just keeps repeteing and won't let me do anything else.
Please any help would be appreciated thank you

return the system for a new one. or build one. you set the system to boot to the cd-rom right?

Thank you for the link I will try it and yes Dan i'm still within the 21 days it's been 10days now sense it arrived

If this is your first reinstall and it's within the 21 day grace period [from the invoice date]. You could also phone Dell's Technical Support and request them to "talk' you through the reinstall.
