How Can I do a System Dump?

Ok, before everyone tells me I'm completely nuts, hear me out. My system has been acting absolutely bonkers lately, and no one can figure out why. So, I want to just completely dump the hard drive and reinstall everything. I have all the drivers the laptop came with and everything important is backed up on flash drives. I just don't know how to initiate the dump. Can anyone help me?
