How to activate RAID 0 in E510

Hello,

I have added two WD 400Gb SATA drive to the computer using the SATA connectors on the motherboard, went into BIOS tried to do RAID 0 but it did not give me that option only gave me option for RAID 1. Tried different settings sometimes it would recognize both drives, sometimes only one drive so I gave up after a while. I ended up using the card that came with the WD drives and these drives are now working fine in RAID 0; however, I have lost a very valuable PCI slot. Any help how to use the SATA connector on the motherboard and whatever changes that I would need to make in the BIOS setting to be able to set up these two hdd's as RAID 0 is greatly appreciated. I really want to recover the very valuable PCI slot to install a Firewire 800 card b/c I used up the last slot for the WD SATA card. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much ejn63 for your response. Oh well, I did not realize this when I bought this computer. I had an XPS 400 before and it crashed three times, reinstalled everything three times with help from tech support. No one there seems to quite sure what the problem was so I returned it and got this E510. If I were to buy another Dell Desktop which one should I look into since I do a lot of videos burning and recording on it. I like this computer also for the fact that it came with a dual tuner pvr which is quite convenient. I guess I can get something similar to that dual tuner on the open market? Has anyone look into an HDTV card? Any ideas please share. Thanks a bunch.

According to the manual and specifications, the E510 supports RAID 1 only - no RAID 0.
