How to restore

I didn't know where to post this, so obviously i decided here.Anyway I want to Restore my computer to the day i first got it and i dont have any restore points near that date, and the help and support on the computer isn't helping at all. Anyone know how I might go about this? I have a dimension 8300

I know you need the XP disc but i cannot find mine, is there a way to get another one from DELL?

No. Since your product key is on the case, borrow a Dell XP CD from a friend or colleague, and use it with your serial number. If you don't know anyone with a Dell XP CD, you'll have to purchase a new copy of XP at retail.
