Try installing a new 18" 80-wire, 40-pin three connector IDE data cable and see if it makes a difference.

You need an IDE cable, same as THIS

A hint: The btue connector connects to the motherboard.

Hey I replaced the IDE cable but it only stretched to fit 1 IDE cd drive to PC.

Then I still got the error even with new cable, so now I think I might of pulled the power connector to the cd drive.

Some times the cd drive works, no errors in system diagnostics.

But it does not say anything about the cd drive in diagnostics if the Bios does not detect it.

There's no way to troubleshoot the power supply and other cables.:emotion-12:

Wait when I get the error I get lights on front of PC 123. Another error occured.

Power light stays Green when It's on.

I don't understand this, you should have no problems with connecting an 18" IDE data cable to two optical drives and the motherboard.

The only method I know of testing/checking the data cables, is replacing them.

GGGx Diagnostic lights can indicate 'Ensure that the cables are properly connected to the system board from the hard drive, CD drive, and DVD drive'.

Regards to the power supply, if you are comfortable working around computers, you could try the following:

Note: The only 100% method of testing a PSU, is to install a know working power supply.

Unplug the cord from the power supply, hold the power button in for about 15/20 seconds, open the case, unplug the 24-pin power connector from the motherboard and jump the Green wire to one of the Black wires, reconnect the power cord and power the system on, if power supply's fan and the hard drive run, then the PSU should be good.

Note: Do not remove any wires from the plug, use a small piece of wire or a paper clip as a jumper.

Get no errors with CD drive now, also factory reset PC. Must of been a configuration error.
