IDT Audio Driver?
I updated my computer today and I noticed one of the new updates was the IDT audio driver. Before this I had Realtek on my computer. Could someone explain to me why I have IDT instead of Realtek now?

Hi raspberryfrosty,
The drivers and updates are suggested based on the Hardware present in the machine. So that I can check the audio chip (audio card) in your computer, I would need the exact System Model Number of your Laptop. Please reply with the same.

Would that be my service tag?
It's ( Admin Note: Removed Service Tag as per Privacy Policy ) and my laptop is a Dell Inspiron Ultrabook 15z.

Correction - Inspiron 15Z 5523 is what I own. I apologize for the confusion.

Hi raspberryfrosty,
Inspiron 5523/15z is shipped with the IDT 92HD94 Audio controller. The software used to control the Audio settings is Maxx Audio. “IDT Audio Control Panel” update is a valid update for your computer, please install it.
Please revert for clarification.
