Info regarding DVD-R
Recently purchased Dimension 4700 with XP Pro. My question is about the 16X DVD+/-RW Double layer drive what blank CD-R and DVD-R should I get to get optimum performance ?
What brand/model etc is this equipment ? Thank You in advance

Hi Scuba,
Well Dell was shipping the Philips 8631, but someone stated they are now shipping a BengQ and also NEC 3450a, however Dell does not currently have the latter two drives listed when searching Storage devices under Product Support. They have a NEC 6500a DVD+/-R/RW drive but it is a 8X drive.
