Inspiron 1100 Locking Up
Does anyone have an insight as to why my 6-month old Dell is locking up? It happens, on average, about 90 minutes into my usage. The CPU level is not high at all - at most I'm running Explorer and Word concurrently.
Tech support has suggested wiping my hard drive clean and reinstalling everything. There has to be a better way...

try checking for the latest drivers for your hardware through the downloads tab above.
also get all the critical updates from www.windowsupdate.com
