Installing SCSI Hard Drive

I have a Dell Optiplex GX 260, I installed a Adaptec SCSICARD 19160 and a Maxtor Atlas 10K III 73 Gig hard drive. I took out the IDE hard drive, I only want to boot and use the SCSI drive. I think all setting are correct on the SCSICARD and SCSI hard drive, are there any special setting I have to do in Bois to make this hard drive work. I get on boot;  blue screen boot Inaccessible_Boot_Device. Help!!
