Interested in buying optical device for my inspiron 4000
I was first wondering if you can buy a CD/DVD-RW for the inspiron 4000? If you can, please send me the link and/or Dell part#. However, I have a feeling a DVD-RW is not made for the inspiron 4000. In that case, I'm interested in a CD-RW/DVD combodrive. Unfortunately, I could not find the particular drive for the inspiron 4000 series online, but did find one that was compatible with inspiron 8200/4150/4100 (Dell part# 313-1229). Is this same combodrive compatible with the inspiron 4000 series? If not, could you please provide the link and/or Dell part# for a compatible CD-RW/DVD combodrive?

The Software and Peripherals department can sell components from other vendors.
