Is it possible to create a DOS bootable cd with an executable file in it?

Greetings:
 
I have an executable program which need to be run in DOS.  Since my I9K2 doesn't have a floppy drive and XP Prof doesn't support DOS.  I am wondering if there is a way to create a Dos Bootable CD-ROM which will include the executable file in it?

You surely can.  I do it with the BIOS flash updates for people that do not have a floppy drive and want to flash from DOS.
 
Do you have a program that can modify a ISO file such as WinISO?  If you do, I can send you the bootable ISO image file and you can add the program to is so that you can use.  Or if you want, you can send me the file and I can create the ISO image for you.

Thank you so much for your help. 

Yes, I do have WinIso 5.3 in my computer.  Is this good enough?  So if you don't mind please send me the bootable iso file to pwangdel@yahoo.com.  I will play around with it first.  I know who to contact :smileyhappy: if I can't figure my way out .   Based on your posting, each time someone wants to upgrade the laptop Bios without a floppy, he/she has to burn a bootable CD with the upgrade bios file in it, am I understand this correctly?

WinISO 5.3 is the latest version.  That's what I use to create quick changes to an ISO file.
 
If you do not have a floppy disk and you want to use DOS and not the hard drive upgrade when performing a BIOS Flash, then the answer is yes, you must create a new CD with the updated BIOS.  Otherwise, how would it get onto the new CD?  (don't take that wrong.  I do not want to sound mean)
 
For people who want to play it safe, they update their BIOS from a pure DOS environment.  If they have a "C" series or older notebook from Dell, then I would say always use the DOS environment or you could end up with a hunk of worthless plastic.  So many of the hard drive updates have failed.
