MEDIA CENTER CRASH REPORT: Ehshell.exe- Common Language Debugging Services
"Application has generated an exception that could not be handled."
Process if=0xa9c(2716) Thread id=0xa98(2712)
Ok to terminate; Cancel to debug
This message continues to show up and a media center crash report is made.
What factors causes this happen and how can I fix it?

This appears to be a software problem but you've posted in the hardware forums. Let me suggest you post your message in the Microsoft OS forum, and be sure to provide the following additional details: the model of your Dell, your operating system, and which version of WMC you are using.
