Missing .dll files
I dont know if i am in the right area but here it goes
yesterday when i restarted my computer i had a message that said " 00047935.exe-unable to locate componant. egnsengine.dll was not found re-install application may fix the problem. So i asked for help via dell they said to download and place file under win system32 directory i did then i restarted the computer and i got a new message " egieporcess.dll was not found " what is happening and why? Please help

egnsengine.dll seems to be part of Gator, which by most normal people, is considered to be spyware. I would suggest you run Adaware and Spybot Search and Destroy, and let them remove everything they find. See if that solves your problem. If not post back.

Ok i did that error message gone
But i cant get comet cursor off my computer it wont delete any ideas?
I tried add/remove programs and going through control panel/ hard drive/ programs files/comet and removing I get cant delete dmserver.exe access denied
ahhhhhhh i hate computers

You can't really blame the computer, now can you? For the most part, these things slither onto your system from human intervention... meaning you, or someone with access to your computer, downloaded something that caught their fancy at the moment, not thinking of the consequences of their actions. Steve's and Bev's links should get you all straightened out. If not, for some reason, post back, but don't blame the computer...
