missing drive a [Dimension 2350 / XP]
Help!
My computer is missing the (A) floppy drive. I can't read a disk. My Computer only shows Local Disk (C:) and CD-RW Drive (D:)
No Events found!

Did you order the computer with a floppy drive? Does it have one and now just doesn't show up in Windows? If this you have one and it isn't showing up in Windows, open the case and make sure both the data cable and the power cable are securely connected to the drive.

The A drive is not showing up in Microsoft. It was installed on my new computer 1 1/2 years ago. It just disappeared in Microsoft.
All cables are firmly secured in back of machine. Are you saying that I need to take off the shell casing to see if cables are firmly secured inside computer?
Sorry, but I'm pretty illiterate with computers.

Thank you Steve. I still haven't been able to open up casing [need special screw driver]. I'll let you know status when I check the cables inside of computer.
