NEC ND1100A DVD+RW
I was wondering if there is any firmware or update that will allow my NEC ND1100A DVD+RW to write to DVD-R/RW. thanks.

Hi Number621,
In the past, Dell considered this a "hack" and requested the Members not to supply information on the public boards in this regards. I dropped the Forum Admin an e-mail requesting yea or nay on their policy, but have not received a response as of yet.
So for now all I can say the use of one will void the Dell warranty on the drive and check your PM (Private Messages)
