Need a DVD Decoder after reinstalling Windows XP Home

I have an Inspiron 1150 laptop. A new motherboard was put in following hardware problems, and I today reinstalled Windows XP on the advice of Dell. Now, my DVD player won't play as it has no DVD decoder. I can't seem to find any drivers or software for this, although InterVideo WinDVD did come with the computer when first bought. How can I get a way of running the DVD player?

You need to have WinDVD or PowerDVD installed in your system.  Since
you had a problem and Dell worked it with you, contact them and
request the DVD Decoder software required.
