Need help with new HDD
hi, i have just installed an extra HDD for added storage on my XPS 420
Seagate ST2000DL003 Barracuda Green 3.5-inch 2TB SATA
it shows up in the BIOS however does not show up in my computer
any advice ?

start-contro panel - system - administrative tools - computer management - storage - disc management.

You need to use the disc administrator (control panel, system tools ..) to partition and format the drive before WIndows will see it.
