No documentation for a CD-RW?
Hi:
Can anyone tell me where I might find a user guide for the following CD-RW?
HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8483B
HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8483B
The closest I could find at Dell's User Guide site was for a
HLDS GCE-8483B

and clearly this is a different model.

Dell, in its wisdom, no longer provides such documentation on the HD nor on
backup/resource CD's. A forum search shows they have been selling this
model for more than 6 months. Yet apparantly, no user guide!?

Just by looking at the pics of the front plate, I can tell they are different models.

Hi Joe,
According to a "source" I cannot name, although the outside case may differ, they are the same drive.
