Problem with Latitude C400

I just bought a laptop off of a lease resale its 2 years old and when I turn it on  I get a blue screen and the OS doesnt load, I cant do nothing, I tried going to safe mode and I get the same thing, earlier the same day it was working fine I could turn it on and it would load window 2000 but as soon as I installed the drivers for the docking station it came up with the blue screen and windows would not load, the laptop came with the operating system already loaded. Ive tried to use the reinstall CD but the CD ROM just runs through its cycle then stops. What do I need to do to get it to load the operating system

The DockQuick software is not used with W2000 and is probably what is "screwing up the detail". You may have to do a fresh OS install to eliminate the problem after deleting and remaking the Primary partition and reformatting during the early stages of W2k Setup.  If you have trouble with the Recovery CD for W2000 getting to that point in Setup, You may have to use a delpart.exe Floppy Disk made from a download from this site to eliminate the partitions first.
