+R or -R
Hi everyone
Where can I find out if I need to buy +R or -R dvds for my Inspiron 8600..

As far as I know.... all the DVD burners supplied by Dell for their laptops utilize the +R DVD media. I don't think they currently offer a drive that will do bout +/- R DVD's for any of their laptops. So the answer to your question would be the +R DVD media. I'll count on the other forum oldtimers to jump in if this isn't accurate
