Recommendations for upgrading CD drive to DVD+R?

What advice do forum members have for upgrading the CD drive in my XPS so I can directly make copies of DVD+R media? 

 

The XPS came with Samsung CD-R/RW SW-252S and NEC DVD+RW ND-3200AD drives.  The Dell part number was 463-2104.  I subsequently ordered a Dell 0U761 DVD-ROM drive, part number 313-1322, which is a Samsung XJ-HD166S, mistakenly thinking it would do the job.  I realize now that it will read DVD-R, but not DVD+R media. 

 

I don't see where Dell offers a DVD-ROM drive with DVD+R support for the XPS.  I thought it important to have a drive that is certified for my XPS and covered by the Dell warranty.
