reinstall roxio cd

I am woking on an Dimension 2400, I have the installing /re-installing Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.1 Basic cd. When I try to reinstall it says, Easy CD 5 is incompatable with this version of Windows.  The windows is XP Home Edition. Can anyone help?

Try a clean install.  Uninstall ROXIO Easy CD Creator then apply ROXIO Zap
from Predators Web Site Section 7-5 Article 5 here .........

ROXIO Zap will clean the system of remnents of the program for a clean install.
 
Reboot then try to re-install Easy CD Creator. 

What version of Windows XP do you have?  SP1 or SP2?

ROXIO Version 5 is not compatible with Windows XP SP2.  Versions 6 or 7 are required.
Version 5 if it installs will lose some functionality.
