reinstalling software with new harddrive

Question

I am ready now to reinstall the software on this new hard drive which the guy from Dell put in my computer the other day...i do not know which cd i need to install first, or how to do it...can someone help me?   thank you,  joanie

Thanks Bev,  its a dimension 4700  ..  i blew the hard drive and the guy came and replaced it...then, in the mail come 2 cd's, and i am ready to install, i guess...i am going to try once again looking at the manual but didn't seem to figure it out the first time.....thanks again...joanie

The "Reinstall Guide" you were referred to is NOT the manual...
