Replacement Hard Drive for Precision 90??
Hi,
My Precision 90 notebook currently has a 90 GB Hard Drive which shows up in Device Manager as a:
HITACHI HTS721010G9SA00
Is there any reason why I couldn't replace my current hard drive with this one?

It's quite a bit cheaper than a smaller HD drive (but the largest they list) I could find on the Dell site.

It'll work, but this one is less expensive, in stock and WD has a better reputation for drive reliability than Hitachi.

I had a very negative experience w/ a WD HD some time ago and have "boycotted" them ever since. However, I expect luck of the draw had much to do with it.
Thanks much for the input-- and specific info. I've ordered the HD you referenced.
