Symantec Restore Partition

I've got a Dell 8400 PC. The first thing I did when I received it was to repartition the 250Gb HD with Partition Magic, thus unknowingly blowing away my chances of restoring the OS with the Dell PC Restore utility by Symantec. Partition Magic reports a 4750Mb partition at the high end of the disk a (CP/M Concurrent DOS, CTOS partition). I guess this is the "Ghost Image" for the PC Restore utility. Since I can't use this feature, can I safely blow this partition away and recover this space?

Also can I blow away the DellUtility at the fromt of the disk? I'm not desperate for free space, but I do want to backup the main partition with Norton Ghost, which won't run at the moment since I have 4 primary partitions (the DellUtility and the CP/M partition account for 2 primary partitions)

gdavej.

You should be able remove the Dell Pc Restore partition without a problem, regards to the small Dell diagnostic partition, unless you have the diagnostics on a CD, I would keep this for future use.
