For some reason, when i start my computer and click the username a file pops up called System 32.  It automatically pops up, everytime u start the computer.  Anyone know how to stop this?

snapcraklepop,

You say that it is an error, but is it really just the system32 folder that opens?  If so, see the following:

Scan your system with an up to date virus scanner.  That's one of the common backdoor trojans these days.

snapcrackelpop,

In addition to the suggested solution, above, or as an alternative, you might want to check and see if there are any Dell downloads for your system that might address this issue.  I have an XPS Gen2, and Dell has posted a Web Patch for the XPS Gen2 that specifically addresses this issue with respect to Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2:  http://support.dell.com/FileLib/Type.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&Category=0&OS=WW1&OSL=EN&SvcTag=&SysID=DIM_PNT_P4_XPS_G2&DeviceID=5115
