system aspi is not installed predator help
hi predator you answerd my last post about my nec dvd +rw drive that when i put media in the pc monitor freezes and i can only restart well ive found in nero 6 that it says system aspi not installed is this the problem please help

Not sure why nero gives that message, however I also see it in mine. PS all my drives run fine. So disregard this as being a problem. If your still having some sort of problem, them post the exact problem and any error messages as possible. This will save the members time and help you trouble shoot faster.
Have you looked on Predator's web site for some help?

I believe that Nero is one of the few authoring packages that still relies on aspi being in its' home directory or somewhere…
XP doesn't have a separate aspi file as it is built into the OS and Nero does not seem to understand that.
