system32 dll file missing or corrupt w/no keyboard function

Question

I made contact with dell customer support, was told that my hard drive is no good...It's missing the above mentioned file & the keyboard isn't working...Common with the dll file probelms, but wth??? This system is less than 4 mths old...I need the keyboard in order to do anything...I have checked the hook ups etc...Any ideas????

Thank you for responding...The hard drive had crashed & was replaced by Dell within a week. My system is a dimension 8400 with all the bells & whistles. I am hopeful that this one will last a bit longer & have backed up everything just in case, Thanks again

Including information such as what type of system and operating system you have and the exact text of any error messages may help others provide applicable technical advice.
