The TSST TS-L462D is a Combo (CDRW/DVD-ROM) Drive.  It will read and burn
CD media but will only read DVD media.  It cannot burn DVD media.  User's
Guide is here ..............

How are you trying to burn the CDRW disc?  What brand and speed is it?

Have you tried another brand of CDRW disc?  Memorex is well
known to be troublesome.

They are memorex Ultra speed CD-RW 24x 700mb 80min. I can burn a cdr with no problems. Just bought these last night so they are brand new. I have tried about every burning program i can find and none of them work. I tried to burn data and music and always get the same error msg. Thought it was kinda strange.

Stay with know brands; avoid off-brands and house brands, as well
as Memorex.  Verbatum usually performs well.  Obtain small quanities
until you know what works for you.

Just curious.  I am having the same issue and am using Memorex CD-RW's.  Did you change brands of CD-RW's?  Did that fix the issue?
