using winxp video checkup utility
When using the above application I receive the following message: need to obtain cyberlinkVideo/SP decoder, clvsd.ax, verson 5.0.0.1814 and cyberlinkVideo/SP decoder dvsd.ax No verson number to use windows media player 10 to synchronize MPEG-2 encoded content such as .dvr-ms files and some.avi files. Can anyone help with this problem or at least point me in the right direction.
My computer is Dell dimension 4600, service tag 9KFQ451.

Thank you for visiting the Dell Community Forum.
This may be referring to the PowerDVD software. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the PowerDVD software; then check in the Dell File Library for any updates for your particular version of PowerDVD and install if any are available.
