Vospro 400
Hi Guys
Help please have purchased a Seagate Sata 500 GB 3.5" Barracuda internal hard drive is this ok to fit into my spare hard drive slot in my Dell Vospro 400

We generally recommend asking before you buy the drive. :emotion-1: But to answer your question, your Vostro (not vospro) 400 can accommodate a second drive. The installation instructions are here.

Hi denny1, Use your model number and/or serial number to check on the seagate web site for firmware update. Seagate did put out an warning about an defect on some of its models see HERE.
