windows install doesn't detect SATA HD

I'm trying to reinstall windows but at the install screen, it says it can't detect any hard drives. I posted on another forum and they said I need to select the install 3rd party scsi drivers etc and get one for my sata controller

I have a Gen4 and but I dont have any floppies that came with my pc. Can someone direct me to a download so I can create my own.

The only thing I've found so far is this

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&releaseid=R82876&SystemID=DIM_PNT_P4_XPS_G4&os=WW1&osl=en&deviceid=7548&devlib=0&typecnt=2&vercnt=1&formatcnt=1&fileid=108901

Will that work?

Hi Robbie

Go back to the Dell dl page type in your service tag # and go down the list to Serial ATA Intel App Accel Raid edition driver, it will be a # like R76270.exe. I think you can dl it right to floppy, if not do it after you dl it. Unplug all your hardware printer, scanner, modem, etc, before you start a clean install, as soon as it says press F6 insert the floppy, you have to be quick it doesn't stay long, from there just follow the directions.
