Windows won't detect 3rd SATA drive

Hi all

I have a Dimension 8400 with 3 SATA drives installed (using AHCI, no RAID)

Windows detects the first 2 drives, but not the third. Linux detects and uses this disk fine, so it isn't a problem with the controller of the disk itself, but with windows instead.

Any ideas as to how to solve this?

Any help help will be greatly appreciated

Turn "fast boot" to off in the bios, also be sure the drive is turned "on" in the bios.

There is no problem in the bios - linux detected, partitioned and formatted the disk with no problems - the problem is somewhere within windows...
