Windows XP Service Pack 2 Installation

I just have a few questions about Windows XP Service Pack 2 Installation.  I was wondering should I install it?  Or should I wait, because I downloaded it and I don't know if it's worth it.  The reason I don't want to install it, is because I heard of people who got mad because of all the glitches.  Can I please get some real advice?

I did on 2 PCs and found some problems/irregularities with some of the programs I have installed and a general slowness/slow down of both PCs. I have since removed it by formatting the C/boot drive of both and reinstalled XP Pro with SP1 only. Both systems, along with all my software, are running better.

So I suggest to wait until MS has worked out some more of the BUGS.

SP2 seems to have broken the Dell Solution Center program.  None of the links work and only blank pages come up despite reinstalling the program.
