XP reinstall problems...

hey,

I am having a problem with reinstalling XP on my dell 2350.  I do the standard stuff, it boots fom the CD, I delete all teh partitions and create a new, and reinstall.  I have tried on 2 different Hard drives, and it does no good.  I install and everythings seems to boot right but it will not install the drivers for the on board video or sound, along with the ethernet control (so no connecting to the internet and having windows search for the drivers) and I can't find the drivers because the stuff is onboard.

Anyone have any clue what to do?

You need to install the chipset drivers for your motherboard as the first drivers installed after reinstalling Windows.

You can find the drivers for your pc by clicking on the Product Support tab  at the top left of this page and navigateing to downloads for your model .

Hey,

I installed the Dell Chipset, and it asks to reboot afterwards... I do... but it does not solve hte problem (It still does not have/find the drivers for the onboard video, nic, audio)

Now that you have the chipset drivers in place, you should download and install the rest of the drivers . . video, sound and network card.
