Cannot get Software Support
Can anyone give me any tips on how to get Dell to call me back?! Some background- I bought a brand new computer for my business on March 16, 2021. We set it up and it all seemed fine, however, for a brand new computer it was running very slow. Using Support assist, I ran all the driver updates and scans and no errors ever came up but no matter what I did, it was INSANELY slow. I contacted Dell support, which of course is their "hardware" support team. They ran test after test on the computer and ruled out any hardware issues and said it was a software issue and that they would have someone from the software team reach out because I could not reach out to them. I waited a few days, with no communication, then reached out to dell support again. The whole thing started over, they wanted to "rule out any hardware issues" which I continued to tell them this has been done. So again, someone from the software team will reach out. Once I got the email, over a month of trying to get help, it was a "software repair" I had to then pay $99 on a brand new computer. As mad as I was, I didn't care I just wanted my computer fixed. However, the link to purchase this $99 software repair didn't work. I then reach out again and again with them realizing finally the link they sent me does not open up to anything. I then thought maybe I would upgrade my warranty to Pro support Plus supposedly "next-day on-site repair". Again, NO ONE will reach out or help me. I have been trying to get someone to help fix this computer for almost 2 months now. Has anyone else dealt with something like this?? Or know how I can get into contact with someone from Dell who will actually help??
