cannot uninstall SupportAssist

SupportAssist upgrade failed on my computer. Before re-trying, I wanted to uninstall the SupportAssist from Uninstall Programs on my computer because a warning appeared that SupportAssist installation file was missing therefore SupportAssist could not be uninstalled. How can I  uninstall SupportAssist by other means from my computer?

I tried to uninstall SupportAssist because it was failing every time I tried to update a driver. But SupportAssist would not uninstall. It went to a blue screen saying "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart". The error said "Page fault in non-paged area". I used Revo uninstaller and then tried to reinstall SupportAssist. It would not install because it reported that the latest version of SupportAssist was already installed. So I did a system restore to six days ago which was the last time I successfully ran SupportAssist. The SupportAssist services are running, but now I can't run SupportAssist manually because it no longer appears on my Start Menu. How do I get it back?

I was able to use Dell Update to do the urgent update to my BIOS. I have an Inspiron 3268 desktop. Does Dell have a software removal tool like McAfee and Norton do?

@mhmt

You can try to uninstall SupportAssist with CCleaner Free. You can download the free version of CCleaner here: https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download/standard

For me it shows the three versions of SA when I search for "SupportAssist". After you have uninstalled do a registry cleanup and fix afterwards. Then run the installer exe file from https://www.dell.com/support/contents/no-no/article/product-support/self-support-knowledgebase/software-and-downloads/supportassist

I managed to un-install Dell SA which had stopped working.  However, I cannot now install a clean version (error message - my PC not supported) - your colleagues advised I have to wipe the entire PC and re-install everything.  I'm reluctant to do this as the initial set-up took 3 days and some applications (i.e. M/S Office) required extensive supplier assistance to install, which probably won't be offered a 2nd time.

I am a Dell Inspiron user and my laptop is within warranty. I recently shifted to Windows 11.
When I logged in to DELL Support, entering my service tag to check for updates the first thing the diagnostics wanted to do was to check if SupportAsssist was installed, then proceeded to update SupportAssist, but this update action failed, even if I tried 2-3 times. Then I decided and tried to uninstall the existing SupportAssist in my computer from "Uninstall Programs" so that I could make a fresh install but the attempt failed with the following messages:

"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'SupportAssistx64-3.10.3.3.msi' in the box below. Use source C:\Windows\TEMP\SupportAssistAgent\AutoUpdate\'

' The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it'

If I were able to uninstall SupportAssist then I would reinstall it from scratch, maybe this would have been the right way rather than struggling to install the new version of SupportAssist on top of a corrupt application.
