Dell Support Assistant not working

The version of Dell Support Assist is 2.2.2.7; it is the latest version.  I recently installed the latest Windows Update and now the application opens. The Scan Hardware task does not work.  I click on Run Now, it displays "Preparing for hardware test ....", then it states an error has occured

I have the same problem.  I tried closing the program and restarting the scan a few more times, but the same thing happened.  Also, I had trouble installing some driver software from SupportAssist.  I downloaded the driver software from Dell.com and it seemed to work.

I am having the same problem.  Hardware test not working.

I am experiencing the same problem.  Using v. 2.2.3.2

Other processes (Clean Files, Tune Performance, and Optimize Network) all run OK.  But Scan Hardware sits at the "Preparing" stage until it times out.

Get Drivers & Downloads does successfully scan and offer updates, but when I tried to install the update it 'Failed'.   I'll try to update from Dell.com per Gamer5's recommendation.

I'm having the same problem with v2.2.3.2. Hangs at 0%.
