dell supportassist can't uninstall
Do you have a utility to remove Dell Support Assist and clean the OS?
I have several computers where uninstallation is impossible;
the user must have manually deleted the installation directories.No Events found!

Hi user_dcef2e:
If you are referring to Dell SupportAssist for Home PCs v4.x then there is no proprietary Dell removal tool you can run to wipe the last traces of SupportAssist off a computer.
There are clean reinstall instructions *** in employee DELL-Nat M's 16-May-2025 instructions <here> in the forum but they recommend users should try using Microsoft's Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter Tool and/or manually deleting any stray services left behind in Windows Services after the Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features uninstall and system restart is completed. DELL-Nat M's instructions are based in part on the support article Dell SupportAssist for PCs and Tablets Installation Issue.
*** NOTE: The Dell tech support video Dell SupportAssist Clean Reinstall recommended in DELL-Nat M's post includes sections on how to use Microsoft's Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter Tool, how to run commands from an elevated Command Prompt console to remove any stray SupportAssist services left behind in Windows Services, and lists a few locations (e.g., the hidden C:\ProgramData\Dell\SupportAssist folder) where remnants of SupportAssist v4.x might still remain after a Control Panel uninstall. I no longer use SupportAssist on my Inspiron laptop but I recall also finding stray files in C:\Program Files\Dell\SupportAssist\ and C:\Program Files\Dell\SupportAssistAgent\ after a Control Panel uninstall.
Also note that some services like Dell Client Management Service and Dell TechHub are shared by multiple Dell utilities like Dell Command | Update v5.x, etc., so manual deletion of these services could damage other Dell utilities if SupportAssist is not reinstalled after it is wiped off your system.
