Hi GlobalFS:
You might find some helpful information in Herin's 04-Aug-2025 SupportAssist not installing, who had similar error messages logged in their SupportAssistInstaller.exe installation log after performing a fresh Windows 11 v24H2 install on a new hard drive. In particular, see my 14-Aug-2025 reply <here> to szyb in that topic noting that a clean reinstall of their OS might have removed disk files and/or registry entries that allow Dell SupportAssist v4.x to correctly identify the make / model of their computer or Dell Service Tag when the installer runs its initial compatibility check. Fortunately, szyb was still able to use the Dell Update for Windows Universal v5.x app offered on the support page for their Vostro 3681 to check for available updates for their Dell software and hardware drivers.
----------------------------
When I search for "3510" at https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/products it lists four different models - Inspiron 15 3510, Latitude 3510, Precision 3510, and Vostro 15 3510. Which model do you own, and has your Dell service warranty expired?
If you open a Run dialog box and enter winver what is the full OS build number of your Win 11 v25H2 OS (the last stable build released on 11-Nov-2025 was KB5068861 / OS Builds 26200.7171), and what do you mean when you say you "formatted with Windows 11 25H2". Dos that mean you performed a clean reinstall of Win 11 v25H2 OS with installation media downloaded from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11 that wiped all your third-party apps and data from your system (i.e., including utilities like Dell SupportAssist v4.x that were installed at the factory), or do you mean that Windows Update recently upgraded your system to Win 11 v25H2?
If you open a Run dialog box (Windows key + R) and enter msinfo32 to view your System Information does it show the correct computer manufacturer and model? From my Dell Inspiron 15 5584 with the latest Dell Inspiron 5583/5584 BIOS v1.22.1.
If you enter wmic bios get serialnumber in a command prompt as instructed in the Dell support article Locate Your Desktop's Service Tag does your current Service Tag (which is also your computer serial number) match the Service Tag shown on the sticker on the outside of your computer case? From my Inspiron 5584:
-----------
Dell Inspiron 15 5584 * 64-bit Win 10 Pro v22H2 build 19045.6575 * Firefox v145.0.0 * Microsoft Defender v4.18.25100.9008-1.1.25100.9002 * Malwarebytes Premium v5.4.4.225-145.0.5428 * Macrium Reflect Free v8.0.7783 * My Dell v2.2.6.0 * Fusion Service 2.2.14.0
