SupportAssist stuck on downloading

I have a Latitude 5591, and ever since I got it, Dell SupportAssist has been unable to download any drivers.

It just says "Downloading" indefinitely and I end up having to download and install them manually each time.

I've tried disabling my firewall and reinstalling SupportAssist multiple times, once using a 3rd party uninstaller that gets rid of registry key entries and files the official uninstaller skips. SupportAssist is up to date.

Was in contact with livechat support who adviced me to use Dell Command Update. That program claims I'm up to date even though the update  <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>

is clearly available online.

I was advised to wait for a future update of SupportAssist to resolve this bug since there is nothing wrong with my system. Will be interesting to see if it is ever resolved.

Hi Bjoren, Can you please share the installed version on SA. SupportAssist new version #3.3.1 is going to launch on 8/13. In case your system doesn't have that version I would recommend you to upgrade to that version after 8/13 or it will automatically get upgrade through auto update task. Please post your result with latest version after upgrade. Thanks DELL-NikhilK #iwork4Dell
