Difference between symrdf and symdev outputs

Hello all,

I'd highly appreciate your advice regarding the following issue -

I run the symrdf and symdev commands on the same server. The symrdf command shows that the replicas state is 'Consistent' while the symdev command shows that the state of the same replicas is 'Suspended'. Over time the symdev command will "catch up" and show as well that the state is 'Consistent'.

What could be the reason for the difference? Can I avoid it?

Thanks in advance.

Did you try checking the symdev output after running 'symcfg sync' ?

Avinash is correct, the commands will have a difference because the symrdf command is looking at live information, the symdev command is reading the symapi_db.bion file which is synced periodically, running a discover or sync will give you more up to date information but for latest use the rdf commands,
