Hi,

In clariion we have raidgroups. In order to create a LUN on the disk, we have to add the disk to Raidgroup and then bind LUN on it.

So there can be a physical disk independent of Raidgroups.

But in Symmetrix , Is there is any possiblity of physical disk not part of disk group.

Or always it will be part of the Disk group?
