We have a new VMAX3 and we are learning snapvx. Everything has been working great until we try cascading snaps. So here is the scenario.

Source LUN = 2D

Target1 LUN= 2F

Target2 LUN = 30

We took a snap of 2D and linked that snap to 2F. All the data is there as expected

Next we changed the data on 2F

We then took a snap of 2F and linked to 30 however we are still getting data from 2D.

All of these LUNs do sit behind a vplex however we are doing a cache-invalidate before bringing the disk online and like I said the initial snap and linking to target1 works just fine. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
