Hi 

Current Storage using the DMX 3 950, the DB usage on the db2 is shortage,   I use the one of the unused  VCS disk group  mount to the another device VCS disk group for relocate the database file .  I remove the STD  SRDF , and BCV device from the device group within the same server , then append those devices to another device group. 

 May I know if this is necessary to allocate the STD and BCV device to db2 device group on the Storage side?

Can you advice please ?
