BMC does not respond
hello I have a PowerEdge C2100
The problem is server was working and I tried to update BMC firmware from 1.66 to 1.86 the update was not successful but everything was OK until 2 Hours later and after that the BMC couldn't work and even server couldn't shout down even by holding the power button and I disconnected the AC powers.
after re-inserting AC powers, all the lights were blue like x-mass lights and after many trying, the server got power on but the BMC did not work and I got the error 8601 which says the BMC is not defined..
even in bios setting the BMC version firmware is 00 00.00 and the mac address does not exist.
I tried to re-install the BMC update but I did not solve the problem.
how can I re-install the frimware again
is there any solution at all?
please help if you can cause it is an emergency.

Which method you tried to update BMC firmware? Can you download "PEC2100BMC186.exe" file from below location. Once you extract the content you can get various option to update BMC firmware. You can refer "Readme.txt" and "RemoteUpdate.txt" files for various update option. I would suggest to try DOS method using a bootable USB key first
