Dell Server Assistant CD

Hi
I'm rebuilding a Dell PowerEdge2900 (ST: Svc tag removed by moderator).   When I push F10 to use the Utilities like Lifecycle controller ... It eventually says "Utility Partition Not Available".   Poking around the web I found that there was a DCROM shipped with this gear that has all the firmwares on it.

Where can I get a copy of this disk or how can I get the  firmware on this rig otherwise?

Thanks, help appreciated.

Justin

BillGeorgeHarryDick,

The ISO that you would install the OS with, that also creates the Utility Partition is found here (BUU). The ISO you would need to update the server from the OS, or from the previous ISO, <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell> (SUU) .

Those will be the ones I think you would need.

Let me know if this helps.

Thank you.  I will let you know how it works.   For now the read me on the second link

says to refer to the user's manual for installation instructions.

Is this the correct User's manual?

Also, do you know of any step by step instruction manuals on how to do this?

The correct manual should be located here. The link you provided was for the newer generations of servers (13th and 14th gens) where this is for a version of the tool for the 9th generation of servers.
