Dell t5600 with perc H310 raid controller

Hi I was wondering if I can move this controller to a different pci slot , I want to upgrade the video card and this controller is in the way.. it is currently in a 16X pcie slot.  I have tryed to put it in another slot but wont boot into windows and was wondering if there was a bios setting that would fix this.
