ITA 8.x on Windows Server x64 with 64 bit SQL server

Can it run? The docs say it's not supported but I've heard rumors that some folks have run ITA 8.x successfully on a Windows 64 bit server.

I have ran ITA 8 on a PE 1850 running w2k3 x64 with no problems but that is not a supported OS.

Did you install the full 64 bit SQL server or the MSDE that comes with ITA?

It was SQL 2005 Enterprise, 64 bit.
